Start with one recurring problem
I help shape AI and automation work around real operating problems: repeated manual cleanup, inconsistent updates, scattered knowledge, unclear handoffs, fragile workflows, and tools that are useful in theory but hard to apply in practice.
Most useful AI workflow projects start smaller than people expect. We pick one recurring process, map what happens today, decide what should stay human, and build a focused prototype around the highest-friction part.
The goal is not another shiny system. It is work that becomes easier to understand, repeat, review, and improve.
Getting Started
Workflow Clarity Session
If you have an AI workflow idea, automation plan, prompt system, or messy process that needs a second set of eyes, this is the smaller starting point. It is for feedback and direction before you commit to a full build.
One-time $49
Usually a 60-90 minute review
Written workflow map
Good fit for
- A workflow idea that still feels fuzzy.
- A prompt, SOP, or automation plan that needs sharper inputs and outputs.
- A process you want to improve, but are not sure whether to automate.
- A lightweight outside review before spending more time or money.
What you leave with
- A clearer workflow map and primary friction points.
- A practical build, improve, or pause recommendation.
- Suggested first steps, review gates, and failure conditions.
- A cleaner path if the idea later becomes a prototype or consulting project.
This is not a full implementation offer. Send the workflow details first. If it looks like a fit, I will reply from michael@getprompting.com with next steps, timing, and the Stripe payment link so the scope is clear before money changes hands. If you do not see a reply, check your spam or promotions folder.
Ways to work together
Every project starts with the workflow, the tools involved, and the outcome that would actually be useful. These are starting points, not rigid packages.
Workflow Clarity Session
$49 one-time
Usually a 60-90 minute review + written workflow map
Best when the idea is still fuzzy. You leave with the friction points, a cleaner process map, and a practical build, improve, or pause recommendation.
Start smaller
Workflow Cleanup or Advisory
Starting at $250
Usually a 2-5 business day improvement pass
Best when the process already exists but feels too scattered. This can cover prompts, SOPs, documentation, handoffs, or an automation design that needs clearer structure.
Prototype Sprint
Starting at $750
Usually a 1-2 week focused build
Best when one workflow is ready to test. You get a lightweight working version with clear inputs, outputs, review points, and enough documentation to decide what comes next.
Custom AI Workflow Build
Starting at $1,500
Scoped after review based on tools and handoff needs
Best when the work needs a connected system instead of a small test. Scope can include implementation, documentation, testing, and handoff support.
Final pricing depends on scope. I confirm fit, timing, and deliverables before payment so the work stays clear on both sides.
How the work usually runs
- First, we clarify the workflow, owner, input, expected output, and review point.
- Then I recommend the smallest useful next step: clarify, clean up, prototype, or build.
- If we move forward, the deliverable is reviewable: a map, documented process, working prototype, or handoff-ready system.
- The goal is a practical next step, not an open-ended transformation plan.
Proof of work
I build and document practical workflow systems publicly through GetPrompting. The free n8n workflow library is a good example of the kind of thinking I bring to consulting work: clear inputs, simple automation patterns, reviewable outputs, and documentation that normal people can follow.
Free n8n Workflow Library
A growing library of practical workflow templates for notes, research, SOPs, prompt libraries, content systems, email drafts, and Markdown knowledge bases.

Where this work fits
Good fit
- Solo owners, teams, or businesses with recurring manual workflows that need a clearer operating pattern.
- Agile teams losing time to admin, reporting, handoffs, or communication overhead.
- Leaders who want practical AI adoption without a large transformation program.
- Operators who need a prototype before investing in a larger build.
Probably not the right fit
- Fully outsourced app builds with no workflow discovery or process context.
- Generic AI training that is not connected to a real business workflow.
- Large enterprise transformation programs without a focused starting point.
- One-off prompt requests where the underlying workflow will stay unclear.
Next Step
Start with the workflow, not the tool
If you have a high-friction process, an AI workflow idea, or a team communication problem that needs a clearer system around it, reach out and we can talk through what would be useful to test first.
